Planmed Verity® utilizes CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) technology to provide high resolution volumetric (3D) images of the extremities and maxillofacial area at a particularly low dose. Compact, stand-alone and mobile Planmed Verity can fit into almost any existing X-ray room and can be easily sited even side by side with other imaging equipment. With adjustable, soft surfaced gantry and dedicated patient positioning trays Planmed Verity provides versatile patient positioning and optimized patient comfort.

Significantly lower radiation dose compared to competing systems
CBCT technology provides up to 10 times lower radiation dose compared to conventional MDCT scanners. Scattered radiation is low; depending on local regulations 1 mm Pb equivalent shielding is recommended. Planmed Verity Extremity Scanner can also be equipped with an integrated radiation shield to protect the patient during the scan.
DICOM 3.0 compliant
Planmed Verity is fully compatible with hospital info systems and workstation softwares making it flexible tool for all imaginable work environments.
Self-contained system and DICOM 3.0 conformant. Worklist management with touch-screen interface. Complete volumes or user defined slice stacks can be generated and archived to PACS or burned on a DVD with a viewer
Standing knee, ankle, foot , toes under natural load reveals problems otherwise non-discernible.
3D image of a standing patient shows the anatomy in a natural position,
and can reveal problems that are otherwise non-discernible, such as diminished joint space.
Maxillofacial imaging option of Planmed Verity® provides wider applications with a single imaging system. In addition to extremities, jaw, teeth, maxillofacial area, sinuses, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), orbits and airways can now be studied with Planmed Verity
Convenient positioning and open design help reducing anxiety for the patient.
Lower dose compared to traditional ENT imaging devices due to direction of primary X-ray beam.
- Wider applications with a single imaging system
- Suitable imaging anatomies: jaw, teeth, maxillofacial area, sinuses, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), orbits, airways
- Convenient sitting position
- Lasers for easy patient positioning
